A WORD ABOUT INSURANCE
(AND PAYROLL TAXES)

We are a fully insured, licensed contractor.  Subsequently, we have certain costs which other companies do not.  Hiring uninsured contractors puts you, your family and the contractor at great risk.  Be aware that some contractors may tell you that they do not need to carry Workman’s Compensation Insurance because they “1099”  their employees.  Since there is no such thing as a “1099” employee, they are bending the law in order to avoid certain expenses. Uninsured contractors avoid paying state and (company matching) Federal Payroll Taxes.  Uninsured contractors avoid paying Social Security and Medicare for their “employees”.   

We care very much for our employees and our customers -  We carry Commercial Liability Insurance - covering any losses up to two (2) million dollars.   We also carry Workman’s Compensation Insurance, which covers all employees should  any injury ever occur.  Our employees also have the peace of mind of being fully compliant with all State and Federal Payroll taxes and knowing that we are paying into their Social Security and Medicare Benefits.
